Tough call – only registered users can comment

Going forward only registered users can comment on the site. I needed to make that decision as the number of visitors grew – great, thank you! – the number of abuse, inappropriate comments grew as well. These comments were mostly coming from bots but at some cases from people who wanted to get free advertisement for their site. I got hundreds of these on a per daily basis and it is impossible to review them.

I am confident that this will improve the quality of the content, comments as well. Hope you understand… I will review new and existing comments to make sure it’s all cleaned up. I am happy to cooperate with people, recommend other sites and all that but in that case please come and write a mail.
